Hi Everyone,

What wonderful weather we’re having right now. I just love these spring days, such a perfect time of the year for swimming. I gather I’m not the only one as I see many of our swimmers back at classes or at the pool, which is just fabulous.

I’m delighted to let you know we’re almost back to being full operational. We have classes running at Prince Alfred Park Pool, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre. From next week we’re back at Drummoyne Swimming Centre and in October we will be running classes at Victoria Park Pool. Classes are getting full, so if you’re keen to get your swimming on track before summer, please book in now to avoid disappointment.

We have started our new Learn to Swim and Stroke Correction class programs with the extended class time of forty minutes. The extended time, combined with the capped numbers (a maximum of four swimmers for all levels) in the City of Sydney pools, is proving to be successful. The feedback so far has been super positive, with many feeling they’re progressing faster as a result. Do let us know how you’re finding our new program. We’re always keen to hear from you about the improvements we make.

Just a reminder everyone, we paused all swimmers’ packs and passes from 20th of March until we resumed classes in July. Now that we are back in the majority of City of Sydney pools, Drummoyne Swimming Centre and at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre, we hope to see everyone return to class. For those with packs on pause, unused packs will expire on 30th of September, with the exception of those clients who previously attended Drummoyne Swimming Centre. Packs for clients who took classes or lessons at this facility have until 30th of October to use their packs. Please call the office if need any assistance at all to book classes, or if you wish to convert your classes into a private lesson.

We’re very excited to be back at so many locations. There’s so much to share with you in this newsletter – our amazing swimmers who recently hit their milestones, which is so exciting; we’ve brought SwimFit back with double the number of sessions; we’ve launched a Goal Setting program; we’re starting classes again on Sundays at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre and much more. Take a look!

Remember if the team and I can help you with anything at all, please let us know.

Keep safe and well. I look forward to seeing you soon, poolside.

As always, yours in swimming,

Kari Baynes
Director
