We’re back!

We’re happy to announce that we’re back with squads and Open Water Training. If you haven’t already been this month, we can’t wait to see you and help you look and feel your best! We’re here to assist you in getting cracking on some of your 2021 New Year’s resolutions and setting swimming goals for the season.

Please note we have four squad sessions a week this season, three morning sessions at Victoria Park Pool and one on Saturdays at Prince Alfred Park Pool. SwimFit is also running twice a week too. There’s no excuse not to get your swimming back on track after the Festive Season!

Your safety is our top priority. We’ve continued to maintain our CovidSafe processes into 2021, and remind everyone to check in at the pool using the NSW service app, keep 1.5m apart before, during and after class and stay home when feeling unwell.For more information on our CovidSafe protocols, head to our FAQ page.

Saturday Morning Squads
Our new Saturday morning squad has started! This squad session runs from 7.30am – 8.30am at Prince Alfred Park Pool with Coach Kari. If you’re not yet game for the 6am squad sessions post-holidays, this is the squad session for you!

Ocean Swimming Class
Our Introductory Ocean Swimming Class has been a great success. So far we have had two classes, and we have now extended these classes into February. They’ve proven very popular! You must be able to swim 200m freestyle and tread water confidently to attend.

New Open Water Training Time & Coach
Coach Paul is now taking our Open Water Training sessions while Michelle trains up surf lifesavers for their Bronze Medallions. The sessions will now run from 11am – 12pm at North Bondi Beach (the same location). You do need to book in for this session through MindBody. We look forward to seeing you there!

Together we raised $942 for Australian Refugee Volunteers!
Thank you for your help in our charity appeal! Together, we managed to raise $942 for Australian Refugee Volunteers. It’s a fantastic result, and these funds will go a long way in contributing to ARV’s programs in 2021 for children from refugee backgrounds.

New COVID Protocols

We no longer require clients to fill out the health checklist before attending class. Instead, by attending a class, squad or Open Water Training session you are confirming that you do not have any COVID-19 like symptoms and you are not violating directions to self-isolate by attending. You are also confirming that you will comply with the COVID -19 procedures and guidelines as set out by the aquatic facility and by Different Strokes Swimming.
