As some of you may recall from the last newsletter, I’ve been away overseas. Winter is normally when I take my holidays and I usually squeeze a swim in. This time I decided to up the ante and took on the Thames Marathon, a 14km swim down the some of the most beautiful landscape England has to offer. Swimming from Henley-on-Thames to Marlow with 1000 other swimmers, I was in one of the last waves. This swim is not only iconic, it’s unique with three locks to be climbed over along its meandering course. The conditions were perfect and I finished in 4:17 and most importantly, without any shoulder issues. It was a great swim.

I’m delighted to inform you we will back at Drummoyne and Cabarita Swimming Centres from the last week of September. The details are set out below. We’re very excited about our new timetable which includes additional classes at the current locations in the coming months. Keep looking at MindBody as we’re adding more classes all the time.

We will be implementing a small fee increase to our class and multi lesson packs from 8th September. If you’d like to purchase a new pack at the existing rates, get online and purchase now.

We’ve also got a new payment option, autopay.  This means if you would prefer not to worry about renewing your fees manually as your pack expires, you can just set and forget. And we’ve discounted our autopay packs too, so take a look.

With the start of spring, I hope to see more of you jumping back into the pool and continuing your swimming journey with us. If there is anything we can do at all to assist you, please let me know.

As always, yours in swimming,

Kari Baynes
